Robert F. Pfaff

August 14, 1952 — October 1, 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert F. Pfaff “Bob” passed away from cancer on October 1, 2020, at the age of 68 years.

Born and raised in Baltimore, Bob started his career with Worthington Industries in the early 1970s, where he gained lifelong friendships and later, the love of his life. Bob met Jane through a co-worker and Jane’s son, Ron, in 1994 and married in March 2003. Together, they enjoy car rides, sitting at the Havre de Grace Promenade, eating at restaurants, and traveling. A devoted and caring husband, Jane remained Bob’s number one priority and concern through his final days.

As the big brother of four sisters, Bob, grew up tormenting and causing mischief with his sisters which evolved into an unconditional love and bond as they grew into adults. Bob maintained individualized relationships with each of his sisters, handyman, boater, vacationer, and confidant.

Bob’s favorite thing to do is “making memories” with friends and family. In the early days, Bob was in bowling leagues and cheered Dale Earnhardt at NASCAR races. Most recently, Bob enjoyed the outdoors boating, fishing, camping, and bonfires. Bob often said his family was unique and the most important thing to him, however, his love for shopping and “getting a good deal” may be a close second.

Beloved son of the late Robert & Bernice Pfaff. Treasured brother of the late Charles & wife Sharon Wilson, the late Bernice Pfaff, Irene Maliszewski & husband Ray, Nancy Talley & late husband Michael, Barbara Healy & late husband Bryan. Uncle to Tracy Wright & husband Billy, Jennifer Coleman & husband Ron, Carrie Talley, Sandra & Kristen Maliszewski, and Joshua Cowman. Great Uncle to Charles Wallace & Nathan Wright, Megan & Mackenzie Coleman, Cameron Edwards, and Legend Love. Bob is survived by many friends and relatives.

Bob will be remembered as a kind, generous, and funny man. His laugh will be greatly missed.

“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the Church and gave himself up for her”-Ephesians 5:25
