Derek F. Cox

On December 12, 2020 after a twelve day hospitalization, Derek passed due to complications from the coronavirus.  Born on February 12, 1957 in Dublin, Ireland, Derek was the oldest child of Teresa (nee Hughes) and the late John Francis Cox.  Survived by his beloved wife and partner of 18 years, Christine (nee Planman), sons, Brendan (Laurie) and Sean (Felicia) Cox.  Grandsons, John, Liam, Jude and Amon Cox.  Brothers, Terence and Sean (Barbara) Cox and sister, Colleen (Steven) Sax.  In addition, Derek is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of Derek's life will be held at a later date when it is safe for his family and friends to gather.

Derek will be remembered by his family and friends for his kindness, generous spirit and his Irish wit and sense of humor.
