Virgil Nelson Little

Virgil N. Little passed away on August 16, 2016, after a long illness. Mr. Little is survived by Mary M. Little (née Cooney), his loving wife of 65 years, and was preceded in death by both sons, Michael J. Little and Stephen G. Little. A lifelong resident of Hampden, Virgil was the son of Roy and Mildred Little, being one of nine children. Virgil attended the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, then enlisted into the Navy. After several tours of duty, he began a long career at the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, from which he retired. Mr. Little is also survived by his devoted niece, Mary Beth Belz; several sisters, brothers- and sisters-in-law, many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was 87. No services are planned at this time.
