Victor Mark Vito, affectionately known as "PopPop" to his grandson's, passed away on March 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and unwavering support for his family. Born on December 1, 1959, in Baltimore, Maryland, Victor lived a life rich with meaningful connections and cherished moments.
From an early age, Victor’s passion for family and community shone brightly. His greatest joy in life was the time spent with his loved ones, especially his beloved daughter, Michelle, and his cherished grandsons, Hunter and Luke. Victor’s devotion as a father was profound; he was more than just a parent, he was a steadfast coach, mentor, and most enthusiastic supporter. Whether on the softball field or basketball court, he was a familiar and encouraging presence on the sidelines, always ready to cheer, guide, and inspire.
A man of many interests, Victor found peace and fulfillment in fishing, tending his garden, caring for animals, and immersing himself in books. He also loved going to the movies, playing putt putt and conquering arcade games with his grandsons. These pursuits reflected his gentle, fun-loving spirit and his love for nature and quiet reflection.
Victor's kindness and thoughtfulness extended daily to those around him. He had a unique ability to make each person feel genuinely seen and valued, consistently checking in to ensure his loved ones were well and ending each day with reminders of their importance to him. His home was filled with tokens of his family’s achievements, a testament to the pride he took in his grandsons’ accomplishments and the close-knit bonds he nurtured so carefully.
He is survived by his devoted daughter Michelle; his proud grandsons, Hunter and Luke; his brother Ernest; and his sisters, Donna and Gina. Victor was preceded in death by his father, John Vito; his mother, Patricia Dulski; and his sister, Susan.
Victor Mark Vito’s life was a testament to the power of love and familial dedication. Those who knew him will remember his kind heart, his unrelenting encouragement, and his constant presence that comforted and lifted all who were fortunate enough to be part of his life.
A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate Victor’s life will be held on May 16, 2026, at the Emerald Hills Community Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a man who will be deeply missed and forever loved. ❤️
If you are unable to attend but would still like to honor my Dad, please carry on his love of gardening, and plant something this Spring in his honor (or send something to be planted and I will be happy to care for it). You could also place a donation in his memory, to a local Rescue: https://checkout.shelterluv.com/donate/CPAR
Most importantly, spend time with your loved ones and create as many memories as you can. I know I will forever hold close the memories my Dad created, not only with me, but with my boys as well.
