Rogeto Imperial Eclarino, age 75, of Baltimore, passed over into eternity on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Zambales, Philippines he was the son of the late Alejandro & Patrocinia Eclarino. He completed his education in the Philippines before entering into the United States Navy in 1969 where he spent his career, serving our country faithfully for 22 years before retiring in 1992. In 1974, at the age of 27 he married the late Janet Nines, who was 19 at the time, and together raised five children until their divorce in 1989. He loved serving in the military and was very proud to be serving our country. He was a quiet man, a strong provider, a loving father, son, and brother. Although his Filipino family was far away, they were never far from his thoughts. He loved them dearly and supported them in whatever ways he was able. He was a hard worker and dedicated whatever time he had to his family. He enjoyed going to the races, casinos, and cooking. He was an amazing cook! He enjoyed preparing food for his family whenever there was an event. He was an amazing dad to his children. Although the oldest two were not biologically his, no one would have ever guessed because he loved and raised them as his own. He spoiled his children with love, fun, and time. Being away on sea duty for months at a time made his presence all the more fun and enjoyable when he returned. He was faithful and present. He had lots of quirkiness with us kids, gave lots of hugs, and we never doubted his love for us, or his family.
