Richard David Kosinski, lovingly known as Rick, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on June 6, 1951, Rick lived a life filled with kindness, quiet strength, and a deep appreciation for the people closest to him.

Rick proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1969 to 1972. His dedication and service were a source of pride to him and to those who loved him.

Though Rick did not have children of his own, he was blessed with the love and support of his cousin Debbie, his goddaughter Nina, and his devoted family friend Ryan. To them, and to all who knew him, he was more than family-he was a constant presence, a source of wisdom, and a loyal friend.

Rick will be remembered for his gentle spirit, sense of humor, and the many ways he touched the lives of those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

The family takes comfort knowing Rick will be laid to rest and reunited with his mother, father, siblings, and his beloved May Diekmann.

A service to honor Rick's life will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Meadowridge Memorial Park in Ellicott City, Maryland.
