Kimberly Gail
Authenreath
July 5, 1965 – June 8, 2026
Zion United Church of Christ
Starts at 1:00 pm (Eastern time)
Kimberly Gail Authenreath passed away with peace in her heart June 8, 2026. She leaves cherished memories and a long legacy that will live on forever with anyone who knew her. She lived free and true to herself.
Kimberly was the devoted and beloved wife of David W. Authenreath. Proud and grateful mother to Courtney McNeill, Kelly Reuben, and Robert Auld. Beloved Mom-Mom to Destiny Auld, Alexander McNeill, Kelly Auld, and Skylar Mueller. Her husband David was her peace. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy.
She was survived by her mother Rosalie Chaney and father Courtney Chaney. Also survived by her brothers John Watkins, Marc Watkins, and sister Cissy Funk-Sparks. Survived by multiple nieces, nephews and other family members.
Kimberly found true happiness in being herself and being free. A safe space for her was to have Jubal with her listening to Stevie Nicks, and chair snuggles with Ireland. Kim's happy place was including many of the children that adopted themselves into the family. She loved the summer days relaxing and playing in the pool with Desi and Alex. She took immense pride in being a mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her devoted husband whether it was at work or home, as long as they had each other the world was right. She will be remembered as the best wife, soulmate, companion and confidant Dave could ever ask for. She taught her children and grandchildren to be yourself, stand firm on your beliefs and be true to you. Dance like no one is watching, remember to laugh, be the best version of yourself you can be. Try to be a better person then you were the day before. She was loved and will be missed by so many. When you think of Kim please think of all the good she brought to life and what an anchor she was for her family.
There will be a memorial service at Zion United Church of Christ, 7146 Golden Ring Road, Essex, MD 21221 on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 1:00 pm. The family appreciates the prayers, love and support offered to them during this difficult time.
