Dolly Edwina Libber

On Friday, August 21, 2026, Dolly Edwina Libber (née Baran), of Edgemere, passed peacefully.

She was the beloved wife of James Thomas Libber; loving mother of Christina Libber and the late James Timothy Libber; loving sister of Sandra Chavis and her late husband, Lonnie; sister-in-law of Michael Libber and his wife, Diane, and the late Margetta Covella and her late husband, Dominic; cherished aunt of Michael and Matthew Libber, Dominic and Bethany Covello, and Lonnie and Danny Chavis; and dear daughter of the late Walter and Ida Gladys Baran. Dolly is also survived by many other loving family members and friends.

Dolly was fun and funny, kind and generous, and always wanted to feed you until you were stuffed. She was endlessly supportive and her family’s biggest cheerleader. She loved her family fiercely, and she and her husband, Jim, shared the kind of love you only see in the movies.

There are no words for how much she will be missed. Her family is heartbroken and trying to imagine a world without her in it, but incredibly grateful for the love, laughter, and memories she leaves behind.

In lieu of flowers, save your money for the thrift store instead. Dolly would have liked that. ❤️
