On Wednesday, May 29, 2024, DESPINA POLITES (nee Sofocleous)beloved wife of the late John Nicholas Polites, loving mother of Faye Cary & husband Joseph, Christina Hofferbert & husband John, dear grandmother of Hannah Hofferbert, Louisa Hofferbert, Maria Cary, and Julia Cary. Despina is also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Visiting hours in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, on Saturday from 9AM to 10AM. Funeral Mass to follow at 10AM. Interment at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, doantions in Despina's name may be made to the Alheimer's Assoc.
