Carole Santo Derus

On Monday, November 6, 2023, Carole Lois Santo Derus , 85, passed away peacefully in Stella Maris hospice from Leukemia AML. Carole S. Derus was born on November 19, 1937 in Baltimore, MD to Alfred Santo and Alma Santo. She was the beloved wife of the late David James Derus, devoted mother of Dorée Celeste Hudson and her ex-husband Edward J. Hudson, loving grandmother of Mariana S. Hudson, dear sister of the late Ronald Santo and of the late Claire Romine. Carole is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Visiting hours at Kaczorowski Funeral Home, P.A., 1201 Dundalk Avenue on Friday November 10, 2023, from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Catholic Church, 1102 Hart Road, Towson, Md. on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 11 a.m. Interment in Holy Rosary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Carole's name to any of the following charities: Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
