Angela H. Parent

Angela Parent passed peacefully at the age of 84 on July 26, 2025, with her family at her side, talking about all the people she loved. A breast cancer survivor, she beat the odds more than 30 years ago. Her family was fortunate to have her for so many years. She was a dedicated mother to her 3 daughters and extended neighborhood family. Her passion was teaching and she took great pride in her students whom she referred to with love as her scholars. She was a high school chemistry teacher for close to 20 years at Hammond High School in Columbia, MD.

She is survived by her dedicated husband, Ronald Parent, married almost 60 years, three daughters and grandchildren.

Angela you were a diamond among the rhinestones and you will be missed.
