Celebrating the Life of Dr. Albert Andrew Tysor
On 30 May 2025, the world lost a radiant soul with the passing of Dr. Albert Andrew Tysor, who faced his battle with metastatic lung cancer with remarkable courage and grace. Born on 3 June 1950, Albert was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished friend. His warmth, wisdom, and quiet strength touched the lives of all who knew him.
Albert leaves behind his beloved wife, Denise Tysor, who stands by his side with unwavering love. He was a proud father to Ali Amber Geraghty and her husband Sean and an adoring grandfather to Liam and Patrick; to Monica Mounger and grandsons Kyle, Michal, and Evan; to Joshua Tysor and granddaughter Jocelyn Ayers; and to Jason Tysor and his wife Kellie, and granddaughter Summer.
His loving sisters also survive him: Jacqueline Kiedrowicz and her husband Robert; Jeannette Schluderberg and her husband Larry; and Mary Tetley, wife of the late Frank Tetley; beloved aunt Elsie Reese and husband Sonny, along with their children and extended families. Albert also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all of whom he loved deeply and who were touched by his generous heart and gentle spirit.
Albert Andrew Tysor, DDS, dedicated nearly five decades to serving the Overlea community in Baltimore as a trusted and compassionate general dentist. Known for his gentle touch, unwavering professionalism, and warm chairside manner, Dr. Tysor built lasting relationships with generations of patients who regarded him as their favorite dentist and a friend and confidant. His commitment to excellence, ethical care, and genuine concern for others earned him deep respect throughout the community. Dr. Tysor's legacy lives on in the countless smiles he helped shape and the lives he touched.
In addition to his dedication to family, friends, and patients, Albert was known for his appreciation of Mother Nature and the outdoors, his active lifestyle, and his love of adventure and traveling, especially road trips to National Parks, beaches, and mountains for skiing. He was a kind and generous man who loved a good joke and always loved watching an Orioles or Ravens game. He lived a life full of love and fulfillment in Millington, MD, where he worked hard on his farm and built lasting memories with family and friends. His passion for life and unwavering spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Albert's legacy lives on in the family he loved deeply and the countless lives he touched with kindness, humor, and compassion. His family, friends, and patients will deeply miss him, but his memory will live forever.
We invite everyone whose life Albert touched to join us in honoring his legacy. Albert's funeral mass celebration will be in the Archbishop Curley High School Chapel, 3701 Sinclair Lane, Baltimore, on 12 July at 11 am.
