Maryland State Board of Morticians and Funeral Directors
The primary purpose of the Board is the protection of the public's health and welfare through proper credentialing, examination, licensure, and discipline of morticians, funeral directors, surviving spouses, apprentices and funeral establishments.
The primary objective for the establishment of this Office was to license and monitor individuals, partnerships, corporations and limited liability companies operating cemeteries or providing burial goods and services to consumers in the State.
A great website with information regarding all aspects of a funeral including children's attendance, grief support, and cemeteries.

My family has used Kaczorowski funeral parlor for 4 of our family members they are great to work with Mike Kaczorowski is very kind and he will work with you helping you to decide what is best for your family ♥
My family has used this funeral parlor for many years. Last week, my Mom passed away and I had to make the unfortunate call as well. They are the most caring, compassionate people that you would ever want to deal with. My Mom was my best friend and my heart and I can honestly say that Michael Kaczorowski especially made the most difficult time in my life much easier. I highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much for your kindness. There is a reason they have been in business since 1952.
Kaczorowski Funeral Home did an amazing job caring for my family by meeting all of our needs when my mother in law had passed. They all are very professional and empathetic from the first phone call to the last visit. Mr. Gene was the funeral director that took care of us at the time of need, and what stellar service was given to our family.
I would definitely recommend Kaczorowski Funeral Home for pre need and at need services.
I have unfortunately had the experience of being here too much in the last few years. It's tough to be positive during such a negative time but this funeral home deserves it. One of their staff members Julia has honestly done everything in her power to make it as wonderful an experience as possible. She showed care and compassion every step of the way, treated each person as if they were members of her own family, and truly comforted us all in our time of need. It is apparent that her and the rest of the staff take great pride in their work and that to them it is far more than just a job.
For the specifics as people expect in a review now:
The facility is very well maintained and pleasant. No unpleasant sights or odors. It doesn't have the usual creepy depressing feel of a funeral home. Complimentary coffee and water as well as a few well placed candy bowls. They also have lying around various branded planners and calendars, prayer rings, angel pins, and tissues. The rooms are clean and appropriately lit and climate controlled. And the entire staff is compassionate and knowledgeable. I could honestly go on for days about it.
I hope nobody ever even has to read this review in order to find it useful, but if you do just know you're in good hands. Death is always hard, but these people do all they can to bring a little light to an otherwise dark time.
They are so helpful and extremely thorough. We appreciate everything they did for our family.
